In Almaty, the National Cup of Enactus Kazakhstan, dedicated to youth entrepreneurial startups and innovative projects, was held.
During the competition, projects focused on creating a safe living environment, developing clean cities and rural areas, protecting the environment, improving soil fertility, implementing artificial intelligence, utilizing agri-drones, and advancing various social business initiatives were evaluated.
The event brought together students from universities and colleges across the country, as well as pupils from Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS), who presented their innovative ideas and startup projects.
According to the results of the Enactus Kazakhstan National Cup, the team of students from Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov secured fourth place in the World Cup League. Meanwhile, the university’s college team became the champion in the Early Stage League.
The championship-winning team, “Enactus – Zhansugurov College,” presented the following projects:
- “Basqan” – an AI-based autonomous ecological system designed for intelligent water resource management;
- “Asyl jem” – a natural feed made from organic ingredients aimed at improving animal health and productivity.
Participation in Enactus projects enables students to manage their time effectively while developing teamwork and responsibility. This platform strengthens young people’s entrepreneurial competencies, facilitates their early adaptation to the labor market, and bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
