On April 27, 2026, a scientific seminar on the topic “The Potential of the State Language and the Formation of a Linguistic Personality in a Multilingual Society” was held in Room 221 of the main building of Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University. The keynote report was delivered by Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Aizhan Sakhanovna Shynybekova. Students of the Faculty of Humanities from groups “KTA-311” and “KTA-312” actively participated in the seminar.
The seminar was organized at a high level and turned into a meaningful academic discussion. The main objective of the event was to enhance the role of the state language in society, expand its use in everyday life, and discuss issues related to the formation of a linguistic personality.
During the seminar, students reflected on language culture, the value of words, and the status of the state language, sharing their opinions and perspectives.
It was also emphasized that family, the education system, and society play a crucial role in shaping a linguistic personality. The event included a presentation, a report, and practical recommendations. The speaker proposed new ideas aimed at the development of the state language and discussed ways of their implementation.
At the end of the seminar, active participants were thanked, and the importance of such meetings was particularly highlighted.
