Third-year students of the educational program “6B01705 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” of the Faculty of Humanities of NJSC “Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov” — Zhetpysbayeva Karakat, Tleules Altynai, Kurmanzhankyzy Ayana, and Yelamankyzy Aruzhan — successfully completed their studies at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University in Turkey during the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year within the framework of the academic mobility program.
During the academic mobility program, the future language specialists attended lectures delivered by qualified international lecturers and scholars, thereby improving their knowledge at an international level. This experience provided the students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their knowledge of their major language, English, as well as to improve their Turkish — second foreign language, at a professional level in an authentic language environment. In addition, through interaction with representatives of different cultures, they were able to develop intercultural competence and communication skills that are essential for future foreign language specialists.
The students also actively participated in social and cultural events organized at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. For their significant contribution to the cultural life of the region and their active public engagement, they were awarded a Letter of Appreciation by the administration of the city of Niğde, Republic of Türkiye.
