The Faculty of Humanities and the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov have been granted the opportunity to implement the international educational program English Access Scholarship Program.
The program is implemented with the support of the U.S. Consulate General in Almaty and in cooperation with the KazTEA Association of English Language Teachers.
Faculty members of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, Assylzhan Yesimbekova and Samal Dyusebayeva, successfully passed the competitive selection process and became program instructors.
As part of the program, they will conduct classes aimed at developing participants’ language, intercultural, social, and digital competencies.
Over the course of 18 months, students will have the opportunity to improve their English language skills, develop digital and media literacy, learn more about U.S. culture, and participate in social projects.
The Access Program opens up new opportunities for students’ language, academic, and professional development, while also contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation.
