Today, Zhetysu University hosted an anti-corruption meeting on the topic “Integrity as the Foundation of a Just Society.”
⚜️ The event was organized jointly by the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Zhetisu Region, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, and the Republican Public Association “National Anti-Corruption Movement ‘Zhanaru’.”
Yermek Buribayev, Chairman of the Board, as well as Chair of the Zhetisu Regional Branch of the Republican Public Association “National Anti-Corruption Movement ‘Zhanaru’,” emphasized that the meeting would be held in an open and constructive format and encouraged students to ask questions freely and share their views.
Manap Kobalan, Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Zhetisu Region, also took part in the event. He spoke about the key features and benefits of public service and addressed the implementation of the “Law and Order” principle, the values of integrity and fairness, and the prevention of corruption.
Students asked the speaker about the procedure for entering the civil service and raised other issues of interest to them, receiving comprehensive answers.
The primary objective of the meeting was to promote the values of integrity and ethical conduct among young people, foster an anti-corruption culture, and contribute to building a society grounded in respect for the law and the principles of order and justice.
