On September 23, an advisor hour on the topic of “Extremism and Terrorism in the Modern World: Security and Legal Responsibility” was held at the Faculty of Humanities of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, with the participation of students from group TQQ-311 (IP).
The event was organized by advisor Dinara Galymbayevna Karatayeva.
During the advisor hour, key issues were discussed, including the prevention of extremism and terrorism, building a safe society, understanding legal responsibility, and making informed decisions among youth. Additionally, explanations were provided on critically evaluating information on social media, avoiding the influence of radical ideologies, and maintaining information security.
As part of the event, the documentary film “The Button That Deprives Freedom” (“Bostandyqtan aiyrqan batyrma”) was screened, after which students shared their thoughts and opinions on its content.
At the end of the meeting, the responsibility of young people in maintaining social security and stability was emphasized, with special attention drawn to the importance of legal literacy and a conscious civic stance.
