Department of Science and Commercialization of Scientific Projects
PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT:
– effective use of scientific potential for carrying out research and scientific and innovative work in the framework of the main scientific directions of the university.
- Organization and implementation of fundamental and applied scientific research on topical problems of natural, technical, social, humanitarian and pedagogical sciences;
- Conducting conferences, symposia, round tables and other scientific events;
- Organizational, normative, methodological, information and analytical support of the scientific activity of the university;
- Organizational, normative, methodological, information and analytical support of the scientific activity of the Zhetysu University;
- Development and implementation of economic and organizational measures to attract budgetary and non-budgetary financial resources;
- Organization of scientific research of teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students;
- Increasing the publication activity of the teaching staff and university staff in foreign journals;
- Examination of R&D results and identification of promising developments for commercialization;
- "Packaging" scientific development in the form of a promising innovative project for commercialization;
- Establishing contacts with private entrepreneurs in order to commercialize the results of research and development.
- Ensuring interaction and close mutually beneficial cooperation of university staff with the department of science and commercialization of scientific projects;
- Planning and implementation of research activities of the university for the current year;
- Organization and implementation of fundamental and applied scientific research on the most important problems of natural, technical, humanitarian and social sciences;
- Consultation of teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students on the development of research projects;
- Implementation of activities aimed at identifying and supporting talented researchers, promoting the creative growth of young scientists;
- Organization of participation in international, republican and regional competitions for grants for research work;
- Conducting international, republican, regional scientific and practical conferences and publication of materials;
- Strengthening scientific ties and interaction with scientific organizations conducting fundamental and applied research in the country and abroad;
- Search for promising projects for the commercialization of scientific developments and technologies in each structural unit of the university;
- Conducting familiarization activities for the commercialization of technologies;
- Identification of scientific developments and technologies with potential for commercialization;
- Management of the process of commercialization of an innovative project;
- Organization of work on assessment, monitoring and project management;
- Organization of work and participation in the preliminary financial and marketing analysis of innovative ideas and proposals, innovative projects, as well as their assessment and preliminary selection for the possibility of financing.
As part of the grant financing of scientific research in 2022, 8 projects are being implemented in the amount of 99.2 million tenge.
In particular, the GF projects on scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects for 2020-2022 in the priority areas of "Research in education and science" and "Research in the field of social and humanitarian sciences" are being implemented 5 projects totaling 83.5 million tenge.
GF for scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects for 2022-2024 in the priority direction "Research in the field of education and science" 1 project is being implemented in the amount of 59.9 million tenge.
GF of young scientists under the project "Zhas Galym" for 2022-2024 in the priority areas "Life and Health Science" and "Scientific research in the field of natural sciences" 2 projects are being implemented in the amount of 37.8 million tenge.
On December 1, 2022, the presentation of the projects was defended. 20 applications were submitted for the competition, 4 applications were rejected on formal grounds, 16 applications were selected for hearing, 8 of them were approved and the amount of funding with a implementation period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 amounted to 12 million tenge.
On December 13, 2022, the winners of the competition for grant financing of projects for commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific and technical activities of young scientists "Jas ǵalym-2023" were awarded.
In 2022, a postdoctoral course in natural sciences was opened at Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov. Topaev S.O. and Ermekbayev K.A. were accepted to the postdoctoral program, who, within the framework of the GF of Young Scientists under the Zhas Galym project for 2022-2024, carry out 2 projects:
1. Project AP14972680 "Taylor-Cowett flow in fluids with yield strength". Project manager – Topaev S.O. Foreign scientific consultant – Ph.D. Cherif Nouar (University of Lorraine, Nancy, France). Implementation period: 2022 – 2024 The total amount of the grant is 18.7 million tenge.
2. Project AP15473186 "Development of new genetic resources to improve Kazakh wheat". Project Manager – Ermekbayev K.A. Foreign scientific consultant – Ph.D., Professor Griffiths Simon (John Innes Center, Norwich, UK). Implementation period: 2022 – 2024 The total amount of the grant is 19 million tenge.
A total of 487 scientific articles were published in 2022 (2021-263), of which 2 articles were published in the Web of Science database, 49 - in the Scopus database, 168 - in the RSCI, 76 - in the journals of the KKSON list, 166 - in the ZhU bulletins , 27 - in other scientific journals.
In 2022, 202 articles were published in the scientific journal Bulletin ZHU, of which 166 university teaching staff.
In 2022, 672 articles were published in the general collection of conference materials (357 articles in 2021).
In 2022, 22 articles were published in other scientific journals (20 articles in 2021).
In 2022, the teaching staff of the university published 19 monographs.
In 2022, 7 patents and 114 copyright certificates were obtained (in 2021, 4 patents and 111 copyright certificates).
Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov awarded the winners "The best university teacher — 2021".
Teachers of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov Tasbolatova Ryskul Baitursynovna, Aldabergenova Aigul Onalbekovna, Dzhakypbekova Mamilya Turgambayevna and Bekezhanov Dauren Nurzhanovich received an award from the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov for winning the republican contest "The best university teacher – 2021". Each winner, who received the title of "The Best university teacher-2021", received a badge and a reward in the amount of 2000 MCI (6 million tenge).
Within the framework of grant financing of scientific research in 2020-2022, 6 projects worth 194.7 million tenge are being implemented.
A total of 270 scientific articles were published in 2021 (2020-490), of which 7 articles were published in the Web of Science database, 41 - in the Scopus database, 96 - in the RSCI, 50 - in the journals of the KKSON list, 54 - in the ZhU bulletins , 22 - in other scientific journals.
In 2021, 54 articles were published in the scientific journal Bulletin ZHU.
In 2021, 357 articles were published in the general collection of conference materials (in 2020, 502 articles).
In 2021, 22 articles were published in other scientific journals (2020 – 62 articles).
In 2021, the teaching staff of the university published 27 monographs.
In 2021, 2 patents and 111 copyright certificates were obtained (in 2020, 5 patents and 82 copyright certificates).
Within the framework of grant financing of scientific research, 10 projects worth 50.1 million tenge are being implemented in 2020.
In 2020, the competition "JAS GALYM 2020-2021" was held
A total of 480 scientific articles were published in 2020 (2019-583), of which 11 articles were published in the Web of Science database, 34 - in the Scopus database, 55 - in the RSCI, 256 - in the journals of the KKSON list, 86 - in the ZhU bulletins , 52 - in other scientific journals.
In 2019, a certificate of registration of the journal of the periodical printed edition “Bulletin of ZhU"as an information agency and online publication.
In 2020, 502 articles were published in the general collection of conference materials (2019 - 457). Of these, 86 are published in the collection of materials of the international scientific-practical conference, 416 in the collection of materials of the republican scientific-practical conference.
In 2020, 52 articles were published in other scientific journals (in 2019 - 60), including 26 articles in foreign scientific journals, 26 articles in national scientific journals.
In 2020, the faculty of the university has published 19 monographs.
There is an increase in the number of documents confirming intellectual property rights. So, in 2020, 6 patents and 81 copyright certificates were received.
