Providing the necessary literature for the educational and professional needs of students and teaching staff;
Creating a comfortable library space for the successful work of readers;
Introduction of new technologies in the practice of the library in order to improve the quality of library work;
Digitization of books of the library fund, replenishment of its own electronic database "ZHU Library Fund";
Education of information culture of students, instilling skills of working in the library on the basis of modern technologies;
Coordination of the library's activities with the faculties, educational programs, scientific and public organizations of the University.

Full and prompt library and information services for students, faculty and research staff of the university in accordance with their information needs;
Promotion, disclosure and preservation of the scientific and cultural heritage contained in the fund;
Formation of the library fund in accordance with the profile of the university and the information needs of readers.
