Gali Ormanov Library

The goal of the Gali Ormanov Library is to develop and improve the library infrastructure, organize a comfortable library space, automate library processes, and create an electronic library.

TASKS
  • Providing the necessary literature for the educational and professional needs of students and teaching staff;
  • Introduction of electronic reader services;
  • Implementation of virtual library services;
  • Creating a comfortable library space. for the successful work of readers;
  • Introduction of new technologies in the practice of the library in order to improve the quality of library work;
  • Digitization of the library's collection of books published over the past 10 years and replenishment of its own electronic database " ZHU Library Fund»;
  • Education of information culture of students, instilling skills of working in the library on the basis of modern technologies;
  • Coordination of the library's activities with the deans, departments, scientific and public organizations of the University.
AREAS OF ACTIVITY OF THE LIBRARY
  • Full and prompt library and information services for students, faculty and research staff of the university in accordance with their information needs;
  • Promotion, disclosure and preservation of the scientific and cultural heritage contained in the fund;
  • Formation of the library fund in accordance with the profile of the university and the information needs of readers.
