On 30.11.2021, a competition of readers on the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the First President of the Elbasy “Tauelsizdik tugyrym” was held, dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan among representatives of other nationalities studying at the university. The jury of the competition headed by the candidate of Philological Sciences Kozhagulov Sailau Kazhybekovich evaluated the competition. The honorary guest of the competition was the director of the municipal state institution of public consent of the Almaty region Bulgakov Zhandarbek Aytakynovich, who congratulated everyone on the upcoming holiday and awarded the winners of the competition. It should be noted that the third place was taken by a student of the technical faculty Karabayeva Amina, the second place was taken by a student of the Faculty of Humanities Sadyr Sabrina, the first place of the competition was received by a student Zhansugurov colledg Podgornova Ekaterina. The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. The contest, designed to develop patriotic feelings among the youth of the country and calling for unity and harmony among the youth of an independent country, where representatives of more than 130 nationalities live, became a festive event held jointly with the Almaty Regional State Institution of Public Consent and the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
