On April 21, the University held an international scientific and practical (online) conference “Philological Sciences in the educational space of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the conference is dedicated to a significant date – the 50th anniversary of Zhetysu University. It was organized and conducted by philologists of the Higher School of Humanities. It is gratifying to note that colleagues from near and far abroad became guests of the conference: the Swiss Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Zurich was presented by O.D. Burenina-Petrova, who started teaching at our university, colleagues from Yakutia candidate of philological sciences Monastyrev V.D., republican colleagues – doctor of philological sciences Mirzoeva L.Yu., Suleyman Demirel university Maygeldieva Zh.M., Docent of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Kyzylorda University.
60 teachers, undergraduates and students of our university, teachers of city schools took part in 4 sections of the conference. The conference was held in an organized manner, in a friendly atmosphere, the reports presented generally problematic issues of modern philology, science and education in the modern world, topical issues of the theory and practice of philological research, as well as methods of teaching philological disciplines in the system of updated education. The participation of undergraduates and students showed a desire to get acquainted with scientists from different fields, with their research, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the conference participants got acquainted with the scientific interests of young researchers.
The organizers of the conference, the university administration expressed their gratitude and appreciation to all the participants of the conference and expressed their desire to continue scientific ties and contacts with scientists from different areas of philology.
