In order to implement the summer school and external academic mobility program, a group of invited professors and students from the University of Zurich (Swiss Confederation, Zurich) and Marmara University (Turkish Republic, Istanbul) arrived to Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
Various events are held within the framework of the summer school: intensive Kazakh language courses, educational ethnographic practice, a series of seminars for master’s and doctoral students, guest lectures for university professors.
In compliance with the program, on August 4, 2022 at 15:00, there will be a guest lecture on “Transformational processes in Central Asia”, the speaker is Professor, Doctor of the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies of the University of Zurich – Peter Finke. We invite all interested professors and students to take part in this event.
