The lecture

On 08/04/2022, a guest lecture on “Transformation processes in Central Asia” was held. The speakers were Professor, Doctor of the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies of the University of Zurich – Peter Finke and Dr. Meltem Sanjak. The lecture reviewed the results of the speakers’ research on transformational processes in the comparative analysis of three countries, such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, over the past 30 years of independence.

The guest lecture was attended by teachers and students of the Higher School of Humanities, teachers and students of the University of Zurich (Switzerland), invited foreign scientist from Marmara University (Istanbul, Turkey) Erhan Dogan, employees of the scientific and Educational center “Ruhani Zhangyru” and employees of the Center for International Cooperation and Strategic Development.

All those present had the opportunity to ask questions to foreign scientists and get answers. We look forward to the next seminars of foreign guests of our university, which will be held on August 8 and 10 at 15.00 in Conference hall 313. We invite everyone!
