In order to strengthen relations under the academic mobility program, on September 15, 2022, a meeting was held with the professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Marmara University of Turkey Republic Erhan Dogan on the topic “Cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey: education, science and art”, organized by the educational program on foreign languages and translation. The meeting was attended by students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the educational programs “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and “Translation Studies”.
At the meeting, Professor Erhan Dogan spoke about the similarities and differences of education system of Turkey and Kazakhstan, the main ways of developing science, academic mobility and the development of art in Turkish-speaking countries. At the meeting, students who speak Turkish language shared their knowledge of Kazakh traditions and national food and asked various questions to the professor and shared their thoughts. The meeting contributed to the development of the language experience of the students.
