Seminar for university staff
Professor of the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies at the University of Zurich (Switzerland), invited as part of the academic mobility program Peter Finke held a training seminar on the topic 3. “Research methods 2: Doing interviews” for employees of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
During the training seminar, the professor spoke about the methods of doing interviews and gave examples of research papers.
During the seminar, the university staff actively asked questions on topics of interest to them, and also had the opportunity to get acquainted with students and post-doctoral students of the University of Zurich who use interview methods in their ethnographic practice in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
