February 09, 2023 at boarding school No. 3 named after D.Rakisheva Taldykorgan hosted a literary evening “Mukagali – mangilik gumyr”, dedicated to the birthday of M. Makatayev. The literary evening was organized by students of the KTA 411 group of the educational program “Kazakh language and literature” of the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, who are undergoing practical training at this school.
During the evening, the poet’s poems were read out, songs based on his poems were performed. There was also a quiz about the life and work of M. Makatayev. The literary evening was interesting and useful for young lovers of literature.
