“Republican scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students “XXI century: science and innovation”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of academician Kanysh Satpayev.
On April 5, 2024, at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, the Republican scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students “XXI century: science and innovation” was held. The conference was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of academician Kanysh Satpayev.
Conference subject areas were:
1. Modern natural science education and the prospect of its development;
2. Development of science, technology, and information technology;
3. Current scientific research in the field of law, economics, and management.
In the welcoming speech, Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Scientific work of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor (Associate Professor) Aleftina Bakhtaulova noted that every year the university holds a Scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students in the month of science and this year, Kazakhstan celebrates the 125th anniversary of the outstanding geologist, public and statesman Academician Kanysh Satpayev. Aleftina Bakhtaulova also emphasized the need to continue and strengthen the scientific heritage of Academician K. Satpayev.
Leading scientists from universities of the Country, the USA, Italy, and Russia, as well as young scientists of our University participated in the conference. The conference plenary session was attended by Murat Tchoshanov (University of Texas at El Paso, USA), Gulzhan Senkina (Smolensk State University, Russia), Gulzhan Khamitova (University of Camerino, Italy), Aigul Dauletkulova (Suleyman Demirel University, Almaty), Sultan Topayev (Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin, Astana), as well as young scientists of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov – Head of the laboratory of genetics and genomics Kanat Ermekbayev, teacher-lecturer Danagul Mukasheva; Head of the Laboratory of Robotics and Mechatronics Anet Ibraimov.
Reports on various topics of science and technology were discussed: Solving problems using Mathematics in everyday life, Knowledge of teachers and educators, Modern molecular plant breeding, Modeling an automated pedagogical system, Studying hydrodynamic instabilities using the example of Taylor Cowette flow, Espresso coffee extraction, Possibilities STEM technologies for students in the field of biology, Development of robotics at the university.
Following the conference results, Proceedings of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “XXI Century: Science and Innovation” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Academician Kanysh Satpayev will be published. The participants were presented with letters of gratitude and certificates.”
