As part of the celebration of Science Month on April 5, 2024, an exhibition of young scientists based on the results of the competitions “Jas galym” and “Zhetysu startup” was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
The exhibition was attended by more than 100 people: invited guests, foreign and domestic scientists, university staff and students, as well as media representatives. The results of the competition for grant financing of projects for commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities of young scientists “Zhas galym” and the competition of innovative ideas and business projects “Zhetysu startup” were presented at the exhibition.
The winners of the Zhas galym competition presented the results of scientific projects in robotics – Ibraimov Anet, Akhmetov Zhalgas, Tuktubaev Bauyrzhan; in the IT field – Sagyndykova Shynar, Orazbayeva Assel, Auelbek Murat, Saparova Azhar. Abdulayeva Aigerim presented the stands “Laboratory work in physics” and the results of the project “Creation of MOOCs”. Aigerim Kambarova demonstrated a project for the production of feed for poultry and fish using biowaste processing technology. Zhadyra Sagiman showed a project aimed at isolating and characterizing lactic acid bacteria from fermented ayran using the traditional method in local families of the Zhetysu region.
Also, the winners of the competition of innovative ideas and business projects “ZHETYSU STARTUP” presented their projects: Raлhim Askar, Kabylai Rana, Kenesbai Nursaule, Zhidebai Zhaksylyk, Beisenbekov Yerik presented the project “Gallus”, which is aimed at breeding a new breed of black chicken Kazaukana, which has improved characteristics: strong immunity and high productivity. Milena Ledomskaya, Tanyrbergen Alikhan, Yessimbekova Asylzhan presented an application project for improving the research skills of students of the «Pro Research Lab» with artificial intelligence technology that has no analogues in Kazakhstan; Omarkhan Meirambek, Baybol Zhanbol, Danabek Danial, Asetkhan Almaz, Konysbekova Makpal demonstrated the results of the EcoPODS project for the production of shungite products; Aruzhan Baltabayeva, Laura Smagulova presented the IWIS Mobile application to the public; Azamatuly Mukhamedzhan, Ibraimov Anet with the project “Scout reconnaissance and search robot”; Sagyndykova Ruzana, Nurbergen Eldana, Kuatbayeva Dana presented a mock-up of a “Smart yurt” with the possibility of power supply from solar panels and underfloor heating; Beisenbekov Erik demonstrated the project “Yngai”ozine kaita sen”; Abuzyarov D.R., Didichina R.Yu., Petruchik D.A., Seitova Guldana Amanzholovna presented the product of granulated organic fertilizer “Ecobionova”.
The guests of the event listened with great interest to the participants of the exhibition and noted the high level of preparedness and originality of the projects.
