Intellectual game “I am a polyglot”
On 03/28/2024, teachers of the Edicational programm of Foreign Languages and Translation studies, the Higher School of Humanities, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov organized an intellectual game among students “I am a polyglot” dedicated to the 130th anniversary of I. Zhansugurov. The main purpose of the intellectual game is to develop students’ organizational, inquisitive abilities, and increase their interest in foreign languages. The competition covered 5 stages: 1st stage “Business card”, 2nd stage “Baiga”, 3rd stage “Zhorga”and 4th stage “Doda”,5th stage “Competition of captains”. The competition was attended by English-German, English-Korean, English-Turkish, English-Chinese groups. The students of the English -Turkish group took 1st place, the English -Chinese group- 2nd place, the English -Korean, English -German groups-3rd place. The students who won prizes were awarded with diplomas and prizes by the head of the EP for foreign languages and translation studies by Dinara Maratovna Zhabykbaeva.
