On April 26, 2024, the republican festival of student youth “Iliyas alemi” was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov. The festival was held in the following nominations: «Sogayyn sozimnen bir sulu sarai» (poetic competition), «Olen degen – ar sozdin unasymy» (expressive reading), «Sakhna sanlaktary» (stage performance).
The festival was attended by the North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurova, Koksu Agricultural College, Zharkent Higher Humanitarian and Technical College, Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, Taldykorgan Industrial College, «Zhansugurov college», Taldykorgan College of Service and Technology, Taldykorgan Music College named after K. Baiseitov.

The main prize is Kalikhanov Gulai (North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybaev);
I place – Seitkul Miras (Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov);
II place – Kasym Didar (Zharkent Higher Humanitarian and Technical College), Nurzhapar Jasmin (Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov);
III place – Nurzhanovna Merey (Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov), Askarbek Zhanerke (Zharkent Higher Humanitarian and Technical College), Okasova Aigerim (Zhansugurov college).

The main prize – is the team of the North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev;
I place – group of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov;
