Republican scientific and practical conference «Zhansugurov readings: The Great heritage of the people», dedicated to the 130th anniversary of I.Zhansugurov
April 26, 2024, the Republican scientific and practical conference «Zhansugurov readings: The Great Heritage of the people», dedicated to the 130th anniversary of I.Zhansugurov, was held on the basis of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov
The conference program began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument of I. Zhansugurov. The conference participants got acquainted with the work of book exhibitions on the works of I. Zhansugurov, organized by the G. Ormanov Library and the Central Library named after Saken Seifullin of Zhetysu region, as well as with an exhibition dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the poet, organized by the I. Zhansugurov Literary Museum.
The conference was held in 3 directions:
1. Ilyastanu and new philological paradigms
2. Actual problems of Ilyastanu at the junction of social and humanitarian sciences
3. Educational activities of I. Zhansugurov. Modern educational trends
Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, Doctor of Law, professor Buribayev Ermek Abiltayevich made a welcoming speech, noting that every year the university holds a scientific and practical conference in honor of the founder of modern Kazakh literature, the classic of Kazakh literature I.Zhansugurov. The granddaughter of poet Zhandosova Dinara Sanzharkyzy also made a congratulatory speech.
They were present at the meeting and were awarded a badge for their contribution to the study of the heritage of I. Zhansugurov: Ethics commissioner of the mayor’s office of the Zhetysu region, well-known poet in the republic, researcher by Ilyas Zhansugurov Gabit Tursynbai, teacher of secondary school № 15 in Taldykorgan, researcher by Ilyas Zhansugurov Shabdenov Birlikti Sharimbayuli, associate professor of the Department of Kazakh Philology at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Candidate of Philology, researcher by Ilyas Zhansugurov Islam Dosbol, first director of the Ilyas Zhansugurov Literary Museum is Baysova Feruza Mukankyzy, head of the literary museum of Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhauynbayeva Nurgul Kyzyrbekkyzy; Bakinova Marzhangul Alimbekovna, a laboratory assistant at the scientific and practical center «Iliyastanu», sent a letter of thanks to the Chairman of the Board – Rector. Also at the conference there was a presentation of the educational and educational website «Ilyas alemi», developed as part of the implementation of the project of grant financing of the IOM «The legacy of Ilyas Zhansugurov in the development of the humanities: in the context of the XXI century».
The conference was attended by leading scientists of the country’s universities and university scientists. The plenary session of the conference was attended by Sydykov Tursyn Sydykuly (Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Kasenov Yerlan Slambekuly (Abai Kazakh National University, Almaty), Madiev Sansyzbai Sharapiuli (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty), as well as Imangazinov Muratbek Mubirakhanovich, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Scientific Research Center the center «Iliyastanu» of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov. Reports in the field of Islamic studies, on the activities and work of Ilyas Zhansugurov were heard and discussed. The work of the conference was continued in the framework of breakout sessions. The participants were presented with letters of thanks and certificates.
Following the results of the conference, a collection of articles of the Republican scientific and practical conference «Zhansugurov readings: The Great Heritage of the people» dedicated to the 130th anniversary of I.Zhansugurov will be published.
