On December 5, a teacher-assistant at the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, Zhumakhan Mereke Zheniszy, held a curatorial hour for students of the SHTK 111 and IYAR 111 groups on the topic “We are against corruption”.

During the curatorial hour, Mereke Zheniskyzy defined the concept of “corruption” and also talked about the reasons of the occurrence of this concept. The students were active during the discussion, and came to the conclusion that corruption is one of the most vital problems for society, and its consequences slow down the social development of our state. For the younger generation, corruption is a threat to the future. In addition, the students got acquainted with articles 2, 3, 5, 14, 24 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption” and received all the necessary  information.
