From April 24 to 25, 2025, the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad was held at the South Kazakhstan Research University named after M. Auezov in Shymkent, based on the educational program “6B11201 – Environmental Protection and Life Safety.” Students from the Department of Ecology and Agricultural Sciences of the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences at Zhetysu University, Snezana Bannova and Ruslan Repishev – 311 groups, won the 2nd place.
