SYMPOSIUM

                           

             XII INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TURKIC WORLD STUDIES

Lecturer of the Faculty of Humanities – G. Tlegenova, G. Shukenai, D. Yessimbekova – along with A. Yesimbekova from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, took part in the XII International Symposium on Turkic World Studies held from May 20 to 24, 2025, at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University in Turkey.

         During the symposium, scholars from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Moldova discussed pressing issues in the field of Turkology. The event was organized in collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, and Baku Eurasian University.

         The main theme of the symposium was: «Cooperation in Higher Education among Turkic States». Key discussion areas included: Turkic languages, literature, and history; culture, arts, and media; education and academic mobility; regional issues and international relations; economy, business, and management; gender issues in the Turkic world.

         The symposium served as a platform for the exchange of academic ideas and the strengthening of cultural ties among scholars from Turkic-speaking countries.
