Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov Candidate of Philological Sciences S. K. Kozhagulyov, on April 10, 2026, delivered a report at the plenary session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference held at Shakarim University in the city of Semey. The conference was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Kairym Mukhametkhanuly, a laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a prominent Abai scholar. The topic of his report was “Kairym Mukhametkhanuly and Current Issues in Textology”. He also gave a lecture for university faculty members and young researchers titled “Abai’s Poetry that Awakened Alash” and conducted a seminar on “Criticism and Accusations Directed at Abai’s Heritage”.
