On May 6, 2026, at the extended meeting of the Faculty of Humanities, a preliminary discussion was held on the doctoral dissertation of doctoral candidate Yerik Tortaevich Sarzhigitov entitled “Methods of Teaching Zhyrau Poetry in Higher Education Institutions,” prepared for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational program 8D017 – Teacher Training in Languages and Literature, specialty “6D011700 – Kazakh Language and Literature.” Following the discussion, the dissertation was recommended for defense before the Dissertation Council.
