Regional Skills Competition «WorldSkills Zhetysu-2026»

The Zhetysu region hosted the regional skills competition «WorldSkills Zhetysu – 2026». WorldSkills is an international competition that organizes world and national skills championships and is held every two years in different parts of the world, and also holds conferences on skills. From May 12 to May 15, 2026, within the framework of the regional professional skills competition «WorldSkills Zhetysu-2026» in the competence «Primary school education». Our students of «Zhansugurov College» have prepared themselves at a high level and, thanks to their knowledge and efforts, have shown their activity with the support of qualified managers. The competition is aimed at developing the professional competencies, creativity and pedagogical skills of future primary school teachers.

During the competition, the participants demonstrated their knowledge and experience in conducting fragments of a lesson using interactive equipment, organizing extracurricular activities, and creating a teacher’s personal website.

The main expert in the field of «Teaching in Primary Schools» is Sanya Zhanatovna Archabaeva, a teacher of special disciplines at «Zhansugurov College» of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.

The expert panel provided a fair assessment of the participants’ work and praised their level of professional training.
