From July 1 to 7, 2026, the Republic of Kazakhstan Boccia Championship was held in Astana. At this national competition, Kuanysh Askarbekov, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, demonstrated outstanding skill and won first place in the individual event.
With this victory, Kuanysh became a four-time Republic of Kazakhstan Boccia Champion. This achievement reflects his hard work, dedication, and c onsistent training.
