From September 9 to 12, 2026, the international tournament “Pilsen 2026 World Boccia Challenger” was held in Plzeň, Czech Republic.
At the competition, Қуаныш Асқарбеков, a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Art of Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, demonstrated outstanding skill and became the champion.
In the final match, Қуаныш confidently defeated Ukrainian athlete Володимир Ройко with a score of 10:0, winning the gold medal.
