CONSCIOUS CHOICE — THE KEY TO A SAFE SOCIETY
♦️ On September 21, a class advisory session aimed at preventing terrorism and extremism was held with 3rd-year students of the Kazakh Language and Literature educational program of the Faculty of Humanities at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov.
♦️ The meeting was organized by advisor Dinara Bolatkyzy Yessimbekova. The session addressed issues of youth information security, protection against radical ideology, and the importance of critically evaluating information shared on social media.
♦️ To deepen students’ understanding of the topic, they watched the documentary film “The Button That Deprived [Them] of Freedom.” Following the screening, the students shared their opinions, discussed the issues raised in the film, and reflected on the problem.
