In accordance with Order No. 696 of the Chair of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated October 1, 2026, the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company «Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov» has, for the first time, established a Dissertation Council in the field of 8D042 “Law” under the educational programme 8D04201 “Jurisprudence” for the defence of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor by Profile.
The establishment of the Dissertation Council creates new opportunities at the University for the training of doctoral-level researchers and the defence of dissertation research, while contributing to the strengthening and further development of scientific capacity in the field of jurisprudence.
This marks an important milestone in the history of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, opening up new prospects for the advancement of its academic and research community and the training of highly qualified specialists.
