On October 9, 2026, students of the TQq-311 group of the History educational program shared information with first- and second-year History students about their archaeological field practice at an ancient settlement discovered near Kapal. The practice aimed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. The students noted that they had become familiar with the main stages of archaeological research, field excavation methods, and procedures for recording and documenting archaeological sites.

As a result of the field practice, the students developed a professional understanding of archaeological research methods and enhanced their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. They also improved their skills in teamwork, scientific observation, data systematization, and summarizing research findings. The archaeological field practice strengthened the future specialists’ professional competencies and enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural heritage of their native region.
