On October 15, 2026, a scientific seminar was held on the practical application of specialized terminological dictionaries in teaching the Kazakh language. The seminar was led by Aizhan Sakhanovna Shynybekova, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature and Candidate of Philological Sciences.
The aim of the seminar was to explore the potential of specialized terminological dictionaries in the educational process, identify effective ways of incorporating them into teaching practice, and develop learners’ professional language competence.
During the seminar, participants discussed the integration of terminological dictionaries into the learning process, the acquisition of professional vocabulary, the explanation of terminology through context, and the development of skills for the correct use of terms. Particular attention was also paid to the importance of integrating terminological resources into teaching and methodological activities.
