On October 21, 2026, a meeting with healthcare professionals on the topic “Drug Addiction — A Threat to Society” was held at the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University.
The meeting was organized by S. Ongarbaeva, the group curator, for students enrolled in the Music Education degree program. During the event, the specialists provided important information about the consequences of drug addiction and discussed the issue comprehensively with the students.
The purpose of the meeting was to raise students’ awareness of the harmful effects of drug addiction on human health, families, and society; explain the dangerous consequences of drug use; promote a healthy lifestyle; and encourage young people to consciously reject harmful habits.
