ONGOING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE SCIENTIFIC PROJECT

 

As part of the research project AР26102759, “Study of the impact of physicochemical and biological pollution of glaciers on water quality and individual indicators of flora and fauna of the Karatal River ecosystem,” laboratory studies were conducted in Almaty on December 19–20, 2025.

During the visit, water samples collected from the Karatal River were analyzed at the specialized laboratory of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The study focused on determining the main physicochemical water quality parameters and assessing the presence of potential pollutants.

The obtained results were processed and incorporated into the project database. The collected data will be used in further research aimed at evaluating the impact of physical, chemical, and biological glacier pollution on the Karatal River ecosystem.
