PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL EXHIBITION «RES 2026 EXPO»

 

From April 22 to 24, 2026, the International Exhibition of Environmental and Green Technologies «RES 2026 EXPO» was held in Astana, where scientific developments of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University were presented.

The exhibition featured poster materials presenting the results of the research project AR26102759, «Study of the impact of physicochemical and biological pollution of glaciers on water quality and individual indicators of flora and fauna of the Karatal River
ecosystem».

Project team member, Associate Professor, Candidate of Biological Sciences A. Bakhtaulova, participated in the international panel sessions «The Cryosphere of Central Asia: From Scientific Assessment to Joint Climate Adaptation Actions» and «The Role of the Academic and Scientific Community in Shaping Regional Climate Solutions.» The discussions focused on climate change, glacier conditions, and water quality issues.

As a result of the event, the project outcomes were presented to the scientific community and the general public. The participation also provided valuable experience in disseminating research findings and strengthening international scientific cooperation in the fields of environmental and climate studies.
