On February 16, 2024, the Higher School of Humanities and the Narkesken Literary Club held a literary evening «Поэзия, менімен егіз бе едің?!» dedicated to the work of the poet M. Makataev.
The event was attended by the correspondent of the newspaper «Zhetysu», poet Asyl Sultangazy, Dean of the Higher School of Humanities, Doctor of Philosophy Aina Maratovna, teachers and students.
During the literary evening, performances based on the poet’s work were staged, as well as songs were performed. The best works and poems were presented in a new format. The participants of the event and the audience gave a positive assessment to the initiative of the organization.
At the end of the evening, the winners of the competition of young poets «Жазылар естеліктер мен туралы» conducted by the Higher School of Humanities.
