Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a festive meeting “Ustepynyn ulugagan – El bakytty” dedicated to the day of higher education workers on October 1. The meeting began with congratulations from the minister of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek. The chairman of the management board-rector Yermek Buribayev congratulated the university staff on the holiday, which is celebrated for the first time in the country, and expressed warm wishes to the teachers and staff.
“Since the sphere of higher education is an area that has a special impact on the dynamic development of Science and education in the country, I consider it a reasonable decision to establish a special holiday for employees of the industry. If the future of a civilized country is in perfect education and science, then the beginning of this path is, of course, the teaching community,”the Rector said. This meeting was attended by Deputy akim of Zhetysu region Marlen Kulbayev, who awarded a number of employees with certificates of Honor and letters of thanks from the Akim of the region. As a graduate of Zhetysu University, Marlen Kapashuly was crowned by the rector Ilyas Zhansugurov.
In honor of the professional holiday, teachers and employees of the University were awarded certificates of honor of the Ministry of Science and higher education and the rector of the University for many years of work, contribution to the development of the education and upbringing system, honorable performance of official duties. The solemn meeting ended with a festive concert.
