From May 20 to 27, the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship was held in the capital of Jordan, Amman. There, students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and art of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov Samat Sarsenovich fought in the 56kg weight category.,
Gaukhar Kanatbek took the III place in the weight category 70kg.
