A volleyball tournament held within the framework of the Eastern Division of the National Student League took place at a high organizational level in the Zhetysu region.
Over the course of three days of intense competition, teams representing higher education institutions of the Eastern Division competed against one another, demonstrating their skills and athletic excellence.
On the opening day, teams from Shakarim University, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Alikhan Bokeikhan University, Semey Medical University, and Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov took to the court, delivering dynamic and engaging matches for the spectators. Each game was played at a high pace, with teams showcasing strong tactical awareness and cohesive teamwork.
This significant sporting event, held among both men’s and women’s teams in the Zhetysu region, was hosted and organized by Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov. The university’s modern sports facilities, along with the city’s Zhetysu Volleyball Center, provided all the necessary conditions to conduct the tournament at a professional level.
Volleyball is a sport that demands agility, speed, endurance, and precision. Maintaining a balance between offense and defense, the teams displayed an impressive level of play in their pursuit of victory.
Teams of both men and women from higher education institutions in Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk demonstrated a high level of technical proficiency, becoming a highlight for the audience. After three days of competition, the finalists competed in the decisive matches to determine the winners.
