At Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, a meaningful meeting titled “The Image of Law in Cinema and Theatre: A Mirror of Society” was held within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle.
The educational event featured distinguished guests, including Kuanysh Suleimenov, Head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhetysu Region; Gulzhamal Kazakhbayeva, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, and laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan; as well as Maksat Rakhmet, actor and singer of the Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth named after G. Musrepov.
During the meeting, participants extensively discussed the representation of legal themes in cinema and theatre, their impact on society, and their role in shaping justice and legal culture. The guests shared insights from their creative journeys, emphasizing the importance of art as a powerful medium for addressing pressing social issues. They also explored ways of раскрыting the essence of law and order through characters portrayed on stage and screen.
