A meeting on academic integrity policy was held at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov for students who had transferred from other higher education institutions.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the university’s internal regulations, the principles of academic integrity, and the requirements of the educational process.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Department for Academic Affairs, G. Kydyrbayeva, and the Director of the Registrar’s Office, N. Zhanatbekova. They provided comprehensive information on the importance of academic integrity, plagiarism prevention, maintaining discipline during examinations, and the university’s academic policies.
In addition, within the framework of the “Clean Session” campaign, it was emphasized that the use of mobile phones, headphones, and other unauthorized items during exams is strictly prohibited. Students were reminded of the importance of acquiring knowledge through honest effort and that adherence to academic discipline is their personal responsibility.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the speakers wished the students success in completing the upcoming examination session with integrity.
