Students of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov actively took part in an important environmental initiative within the framework of the nationwide campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”.
During this meaningful event aimed at protecting nature and improving the environment, young people carried out a large-scale tree planting, contributing to the expansion of the region’s green spaces.
The significance of the large-scale campaign was further enhanced by the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who connected with participants via a teleconference and expressed his warm support. In his speech, the Head of State emphasized that fostering environmental awareness, caring for nature, and preserving it for future generations is a shared responsibility of every citizen.
In addition, the Akim of the region, Beibit Oksikbayevich Isabayev, attended the event and highly praised the students’ active involvement. The regional head noted that such initiatives play an important role in improving the environmental situation and encouraged young people to always protect and care for nature.
This campaign is not just a one-day event, but part of a large-scale movement taking place across the country. The initiative of Zhetysu youth clearly demonstrated their care for their homeland and their strong sense of civic responsibility.
