On April 14, 2026, a preliminary defense of diploma theses was held for the 4th-year students of the 6B01503 – “Physics” educational program of the Department of Physics and Mathematics: Zhanar Raya, Zhangyrbay Zhanel, Baibolat Baglan, and Tolepbergenova Karakat.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department, Slyamzhanova S., as well as lecturers Abdulayeva A.B. and Kuatbayeva D.E. During the preliminary defense, the students presented the aims and objectives of their diploma projects, research methods, and achieved results.
The commission members highly appreciated the students’ research work and emphasized the relevance of the chosen topics. They also provided recommendations and comments on improving the content and technical formatting of the diploma theses. The lecturers shared their opinions and gave advice on academic writing, structured presentation delivery, and clarification of the conclusion section.
The event contributed to enhancing the students’ professional training and ensuring high-quality preparation for the final diploma defense.
