District Seminar

A district seminar on the topic “Observance of Language Standards in Advertising and Public Information” was organized by the Kerbulak District Department of Internal Policy, Culture, Language Development, and Sports.

The purpose of the seminar was to explain the requirements of the current language legislation, promote compliance with state language standards in advertising and public information texts, and foster a culture of грамотный writing and communication.

The event featured a presentation by L. A. Chaltikenova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature. In her presentation, she discussed various types of advertising, language requirements for advertising texts, and issues related to maintaining orthographic, grammatical, and stylistic standards in public information. She also answered participants’ questions and provided practical recommendations.

The seminar brought together school teachers, rural district akims, entrepreneurs, and specialists responsible for language policy. Participants exchanged views on current issues related to improving the use of the state language in public spaces, enhancing the quality of advertising texts, and promoting language culture.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants emphasized the importance of such events and highlighted the relevance of observing language standards and expanding the use of the state language in society.
