The diploma award ceremony for graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year has officially begun at Zhetysu University. Among the first to receive their long-awaited diplomas were the graduates of the Faculty of Humanities.
Established alongside the university itself, the Faculty of Humanities this year celebrated its 54th graduating class, sending another generation of talented young professionals into their future careers. Throughout its history, the faculty has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists. This year, 250 students graduated from the faculty, including 35 recipients of honors diplomas, while 9 graduates were awarded the academic degree of Master of Pedagogical Sciences.
The ceremony was attended by the Akim (Mayor) of Taldykorgan, Ernat Bazil, who congratulated the graduates on reaching this significant milestone. The city mayor extended his best wishes to the young professionals and personally presented diplomas to several graduates.
In turn, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy, Bolat Seriev, congratulated the graduates and their parents, wishing the young specialists success in their future endeavors.
“Dear graduates, respected parents, and colleagues! Today is a special day that marks the culmination of four years of hard work and dedication. I am confident that the graduates of the Faculty of Humanities will distinguish themselves not only through their professional knowledge and skills but also through their integrity and strong moral values. I wish you success in your chosen careers and hope that you will make a meaningful contribution to the development and prosperity of our country. May your paths be open and your futures bright,” he noted.
For several educational programs, diplomas were presented by representatives of employers and partner organizations, highlighting the strong collaboration between the university and the professional community.
On behalf of the students, Elmira Smagulova delivered a speech expressing sincere gratitude to the faculty members for the quality education, guidance, and support they had provided throughout the four years of study.
The celebration concluded with a festive concert program.
