On September 9, 2026, an educational and preventive meeting on the topic “Law and Order: It Starts with You!” was held for first-year students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
The main purpose of the event was to enhance students’ legal awareness, foster a culture of respect for the law, and prevent offenses among young people.
The meeting was attended by Zhaiyk Mukanov, Head of a Division of the Department for Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Zhetysu Region, and Alisher Turarbekov, Prosecutor of a Division of the same Department.
💡 The meeting addressed a number of important issues, including:
🔹 prevention of offenses among young people, as well as administrative and criminal liability;
🔹 online fraud and key cybersecurity rules;
🔹 drug-related crimes and the risks of being involved in so-called “dropper” schemes;
🔹 the consequences of ludomania (gambling addiction).
At the end of the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask representatives of the prosecutor’s office questions and received clear, practical, and informative answers.
