Zh. U. Kalelova, lecturer at the Department of History and Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty of Humanities, was awarded a Certificate of Honour by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her significant contribution to the development of higher education and science, dedicated work, and outstanding service to the country’s prosperity.

Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov held a ceremony entitled “A Teacher Is a Great Personality,” dedicated to October 1, the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Teachers’ Day.

Bolat Seriyev, Member of the Management Board and Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy, congratulated the university staff. Employees who contribute to the development of the education system and fulfil their professional duties with distinction received certificates of honour and letters of appreciation from the Rector of the University, the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science and Higher Education Workers, and the Zhetysu Local Trade Union of Education, Public-Sector, Science and Higher Education Workers.
