Meeting with students with special needs

The University’s Psychological Support Service, together with the SANALAB Student Club, held a meeting with students with special educational needs.

During the meeting, students received information about the psychological support available to them from the university’s specialists and the student club. N. Zhanatbekova, Director of the Registrar’s Office, explained how to use the electronic journal, outlined the different types of examinations, and provided guidance on correctly submitting assignments through the Smart Journal.

Library staff introduced students to the national “Reading Nation” marathon and recommended a selection of engaging books for them to explore.

Aiyım Mukhmetkan, Head of the SANALAB Club, shared her personal experience of adapting to university life, speaking openly about the challenges and doubts she faced when she first entered the university, her adjustment to a new environment, and the experience of overcoming a difficult period.

During the meeting, psychologist G. Islamzhanova and volunteers Bekzhan and Amina organized intellectual games and interactive training sessions, creating an open space to discuss the issues and challenges that concern students. The meeting continued with a hands-on workshop, and the most active participants received small gifts.
