On October 7, 2026, the Elsevier Kazakhstan International Research Conference was held in Almaty under the theme “Advancing Science in Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
The conference was attended by Samal Beisenova and Talshyn Zhairbekova, representatives of the Department of Scientometrics and Training of Scientific Personnel at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
During the event, participants discussed key issues related to science management and funding, identifying priority areas of scientific research, commercialization of research outcomes, digitalization of science, and the application of artificial intelligence in scientific activities.
The conference provided an opportunity to discuss current challenges in the field of science, exchange experiences, and explore emerging trends in scientific development.
